Default New C6

Just got back from the cleveland auto show at the IX Center. Sat in a new C6. The seats were not comfortable at all. The battery cables were off so there was no adjusting the seats. I would not trade my 94 coupe for a C6! Just one old guys opinion.

That's kinda like trying to buy a suit in a men's clothing store, but telling the clerk he didn't have anything that would fit you just because you didn't unbutton the coat before you tried to put it on.

20,000 other people are not having a problem.

Very comfortable, 6'3", 220, wish I had them in my Silverado!

I found out that the seat sides (bolsters) are adjustable. I have sat in more than one and the darn sides were too tight in one.

So you wouldn't buy a C6 because the seats were not as comfortable as your 94? Come on man...you are killing me. Did you happen to notice any other differences in the two cars or was that it??

My seats are very comfy---I'm 6' 2'' and 190. Today I put 200 miles on a Chrysler 300 rental that according to Motor Trend is car of the year.It was like sitting on a concrete bench.

Sorry that the C6 did not grab you (no pun intended).

There is a substantial difference between the C4 & C 6 seats, but these were not apparent to you as the battery was disconnected.

Keep in mind that one of the nice things, post C4's, is that it is no longer necessary to step up, then down, before you sit on the seat.

Anyway, congratulations on your C4. They are still a Corvette, and for that they deserve our appreation.

Don't you just love the people who post that they won't buy a car because the seat is out of adjustment? Just got to love an informed opinion. This guy should work for a magazine.

Glad you like your 94 but there's no way I would want to go back to a C4.

Nothing makes me happier than to try out a new car and find I like my present car more than the new one. Enjoy your C4.

Default C6 Seats

The 05 C6 is my 15th Vette. I'm 6'4" and 225# and the C6 is by far the most comfortable Vette yet. I drive a 04 Yukon as a daily driver and the C6 is just as comfortable, if not more comfortable

I put 150K miles on my 94 coupe but gave it to my daughter last summer. The C6 seats are more adjustable (and more comfortable), but since you could not adjust the seats from the position they were in you've reached the conclusion the C4 is more comfortable. And you come on this forum to announce your discovery. Brilliant!

I never liked the C4 seats - I'm a big guy - 6'1" and 290 ... I love the C5 and C6 ... my new C6 fits me like a glove and I like the seats better than our Lexus ...

Can't judge seating unless you can adjust the seats ...
