8 or 10 of us get the Sam Flaps. We install them on the rear to the left & right of the pipes just touching the ground.
All go to the Cruise-In and line dem baby's up with a big banner atop that sez: Raging Sam's Vette Club

Ever think maybe a stylish flap may prevent some of the stone chips behind the doors many are experiencing? Seems to me the new Z06 has small flaps of it's own, but most can't say enough good things about it.
Why is most everyone ignoring this post, and just being cute! Take a look in the Z06 section at "New Z06 pictures - first one assembly". Shows a Blue Z06 at BG with enormous rear "flaps". Once these cars hit the showroom/road, most everyone will consider the same or smaller for their own C6. Cleartastic or such, never!
Maybe one of the forum vendors will pick up on an opportunity to provide the Z06 like "flaps" as a aftermarket option.....i'm sure there would be quite a few takers.

I see you have put out a call for Complete Dreams Studios, if you will buy it, they will make it.
At the L.A. Auto Show, the GM rep showing the Z06 refered to the flaps or whatever as "Gurney Lips". Dan must be proud.
Ok I just read all the posts and I cannot believe 1st someone is driving a C6 in the snow and C. they want to put freaking mud flaps on the back of the damn thing? While your at it, you should get like a 12 inch rancho lift kit, and maybe put some 40" super swampers on that bitch. Total waste of American Muscle. Every time i see a C6, i am very impressed, but if I saw one driving off with MUD FLAPS i might be tempted to throw rocks at it.
Ecklers has them for the C5 in matching body colors. I had them on my car when I lived at my ranch. Had to drive about 1/2 mile each way on gravel several times a day. They worked great in protecting the body from stones, etc. If I still lived in the country, they would be the first mod for my C6.

but . . .
IMO, having the body flared at the wheel wells (ala C3) would be a lot more appealing and practical than the C6 Z06 implementation of extending the wheel well liners out beyond the body.

I live in the country and would def. like to have some protection.I bought Cleartastic but besides being crap ( half fell off in the rain) its really a band-aid.It would be best for them to come out with some indestcrete guards so the rocks dont even hit( paint or plastic protectorant.
