Didn't realize you were also a BMW guy, nice M3. I traded my 96 328 in on my C6. I kinda hated to see "The Other Woman" go but once I got the C6, I have never looked back.

like the c6 over the m3? do u miss the back seat capability? i can either buy a c6 or m3 what would u rather have?
C6 without a doubt.. Sure i miss the back seat at times.. but the M3 is at the end of its life span.. plus you dont want to be stuck with a car that will have an engine pop out of warranty that you will pay an arm and a leg to fix.. Head over to bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/e46m3 They will tell you all the ins/outs of the m3.. Not a wise choice in my opinion.
what is the biggest size of rims that will fit in the corvette? it comes with 18s i think but will 20s fit?
I went with;
Wheels - Maya EX2 Chrome: front: 8.5" x 19", rear: 10" x 20"
Tires - Pirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico: front: 245/35ZR19, rear: 285/30ZR20
After changing wheels and tires I have experienced no rubbing and the ride quality is excellent.
I retained the tire pressure sensors and have no problems.
My brakes use to squeak constantly, since switching to the Baer rotors I haven't heard one squeak.

I suspect you might run into trouble with Wear on those pirelli's.. Especially in the rear.. the amount of power the Vette puts out might cause serious wear in the PZero. The pirelli's are known in the industry as "Erasers" because of their terrible tread life. I have seen these tires last no longer then 5k miles on a Porsche (Granted its rear heavy) i suspect unless you really drive leisurely then you wont get any more then 10k out of the rears.

I would not use runflats on an after market wheel. Rather carry the inflator like in the C5 Z06 and have tires that work as well as tires can to grip the road.
How many run flats are now available, tirerack doesn't list any other than the GY's.
Other then the OEM tire there really arent any runflats available in OEM sizes.. infact runflats are few and far between as far as sizes go anyway.. Most serious performance cars shouldnt have runflats in my opinion as they way a TON. And just my opinion but if i have a flat.. i dont care if the tire is a runflat or not, there is NO WAY i would drive on it.. im going to call the nice Free roadside that is included with the vehicle
