Default Rebates/Loyalty

Hello all,

As you can tell from the screen name I currently own a 2004 C5 with 2500 miles on it. Just got it this past summer and it's been stored over winter. But I've been thinking of trading it in and getting the new C6. I know this may have been posted, but the search really didn't yield to many results. What are the current Rebates/Loyalty cash of the new C6? ,and what is the current wait list if you order one custom? Also what is a must have on/in the car and what can I do without if I go custom?

I was told by someone that there is a 2000 rebate, and another 1000 Loyalty cash if you go with the C6 but this person has been own to talk out of their butts before so who knows.

Thanks in advance all. Great place with a lot of great info

MovinC5 soon C6?

There was a GM loyalty rebate of $1,000 that ended on January 31st. There are no current C6 rebates.

Well, yes there is, sort of. GM is kicking back $1,000 to dealers who have had a C6 sitting on their lots for more than 120 days. So if you can find a lot queen like that, you can pressure the dealer to discount an extra grand.

hey frank, point of clarification.. not that it really matters now.. but that was a $1,500.00 gm owner loyalty rebate... i know, we got it on ours!

of course didn't really "save" anything.... lol, that money just went towards an exhaust, but hey... better an exhaust than going to GM. lol lol lol

Vi.

As of this morning, Chevy took the $1000 cash back offer out of their web site. The offer was misleading at best, with no fine print anywhere on the web page stating that it was for use on older stock C6 Vettes (if ones sitting on the lot since 10/04 or longer could be considered old). Another blunder by the General! Oh yeah... there is still that wonderful 5.9% financing available through GMAC, which is beatable by almost any credit union or AAA lender out there.

When I was at the Assembly plant 03/11 someone told me about the $1,000.00 rebate, if you look now it's gone. Not sure if it was pulled because it wasn't crystal clear or what but their are no Vette rebates prsently on their web site.
