So I am taking delivery of a C6 for a friend of mine who purchased it. (he is currently out of town) I am on the Bill Of Lading with the trucking company. I get a phone call from the driver asking me, "how do I open this thing?" I told him to use the little remote control thingy. He said, "well, they both be laying on the seat..."
OMG!!! GM roadside will not open the vehicle for the trucking company nor myself even though we have all the paperwork. So, my buddy's new C6 sits at a rail yard in So Cal with no option to move it. I am working as hard as I can to get the vehicle here in time for his return.
Option 1: Try rocking the car back and forth. If passive mode is enabled, rocking the car back and forth might unlock it because it moves the fobs inside the car slightly.
Option 2: Maybe a dealer can make a key and you can go in through the rear hatch bypass.
Your friend is a very nice guy. I know. Tell him I said you could turn those run flats over a few times to take off a little weight of the car. Nice color but I like the bright RED.

Sounds like GM needs to enable the "don't lock the doors if the fob is inside the vehicle" option by default.
This has absolutely nothing to do with technology. It has everything to do with a stupid Trucker who locked the keys inside the vehicle he was transporting.
