None more black!
Firstly, I'd like to thank all of you for the information you've given me over the last few weeks as I journey ever onwards to securing a black corvette C6.

all very much appreciated, and on behalf of all the lurkers who head here, your knowledge is exceptional!
I do, however, have a couple of questions.
I'm based in Portland OR, and I was wondering if similarly situated folk have a favorite Chevy dealer?
I'm currently going back and forth between two dealers for the best on a Black/Ebony/Competition Grey wheeled (None more black!) Corvette.
There's a vehicle with all the toys I require somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, and all I need now is to wait for a dealer to call me back and agree to my requests. Here's my deal:
1. Car priced at $52,785. I'm asking -$2,000
2. Trade in on 350z Touring Good/Excellent condition. I'm asking $24,000
3. Lease from Leasecompare (
cheers everyone!) for 63 months @ $596 with $2500 down. I'm leasing due to being self-employed, and this being a company car.One dealership said they could lease this, then wanted extra bank charges (???) of $150 a month!
WTF is THAT about??What do you think of this deal? The car is drooling-inducingly pleasant...
Oh, and a quick tip for a certain Portland Chevy dealership -- don't show the only Corvette in your showroom with the hood up, attached to a portable battery recharger!! Kinda loses the punch...
My favorite waste of time so far? Arguing with a dealer for half an hour about the EXISTENCE OF GRAY WHEELS!!
Oh, and if there's any dealers within driving distance who want to give me this deal, PM me!
Cheers, and all the very best to you all!

Hi, I am in Salem Oregon. I bought mine from Power Chevy in Sublimity. They gave me an ok deal. I have a neighbor who works for Lassen Chevrolet in Albany. The may have one in black, I can ask if you like. I did not know he worked for a dealer until after I brought mine home and then he told me.
Let me guess, the two dealers are Carr (Beaverton) and Curt Warner(Vancouver)? I would join the Rose City Corvette club and go to Surburan Chevrolet for a deal. They sponser Rose City Corvettes.
$150 extra a month?
Patrick
Rogue C6: LOL! You're correct! I'll check into Suburban -- thanks for the head's up.
BTW, if I DON'T buy from a nearby dealer, then I have to bring the car in... I can still go to the "local" one, can't I? And expect a loaner car?
I only ask because I'm talking to the dealership in Astoria who HAS the car, while those "other two" dealers try and figure out which end of the car has a battery in it...
Cheers!
