Default Balancing

Thinking of buying a second set of wheels and run flat tires and sensors. How are they balanced nowadays?

Same way they always have been, with wheel weights.

Those little lead weights they tap on the rim of the wheel or is there something else? What's stick on? An do all shops do stick ons? I would Hate to put on little lead weights on chrome rims espcially if the show!

find a place that does road force balancing with the hunter GSP9700 just like it comes from the factory.

Stick-ons are square lead weights about 1 cm^2
which are stuck to the wheel in an unobtrusive spot.

If you look at the stock rims which come on your C6,
you'll see them.

Default Balancing wheels

All the C-6 wheels I have seen from the factory have those stick on weights in very clear view inside the front edge. I saw one that had 14 weights on the left front wheel and it looked like "dukey"! For one of you gearheads, why don't you event a new way to balance these high performance wheel/tire setups that doesn't show. There is a challenge for someone, you might make some money too!
