Default Key question

Anyone know if the key that is used to unlock the trunk in case your fob dies can be duplicated at any key maker or only a dealer?

Not sure, but it looks like a normal key to me. It doesn't have that little diode like the older keys.

I make keys as a sideline.
I made extra copies of the C6 key by using a standard 205 GM blank.
And they all work flawlessly.
Some moron on Ebay is selling C6 blanks for 8+ bucks. That's B.S.
The going rate for a double-sides GM key is around $2.50 CUT!
