Hello,
I know there are a lot of posts about the HUD. But I look for a HUD in my C6. I was by the dealer, they have no idea which parts they should order. But we founfd one in their computer, the HUD projektor but they cann't order this. No number...the have to replace this with an old part over AC Delco. Anyway they have no idea which parts they need at all to build me a complete HUD in my car. (cables...)
Is there somebody who can help with that?

The HUD is a VERY integrated device on the C6. Takes inputs from many other systems. It would be hard to believe that a dealer could do it. I wouldn't even let them try unless there was a pre-existing harness and it was a one or two connection hook-up.

this needs to be installed at the factory.

Appears at this time,the projector is only serviced by Delco service centers and cannot be obtained thru dealers.
Would think this would be a plug/play as in the C5.All C6 dash pads have cutout area for projector unit,non hud have filler panel in that opening.

That definitely does not sound like an after-market thing, but like the above posts have said...... factory installation...
