As promised, here is a a photo of the stone guards that I installed on my C6. They are small - just enough extension to guard against stones flung by the tires from hitting the body work.
I think they look ok. I saw a MY C6 at an autocross last week with these on and it really looked pretty good. I like your silver calipers - looks nice.
I think they are a good idea. If possible I would like to see a picture from a little greater distance. Thanks for taking the time to post. I have seen some pretty nasty stone chips in that area before.
These are simply, flat, generic, plastic, black guards that I purchased at an auto parts store. I suspect that most stores carry similar ones. I used the factory fender liner points for two of the attachments on each guard. I had to drill an additional two holes for each also.
I think you did a nice job there. Thought of something like that myself. They sure wouldn't 'stand out' either. Thanks for the info and photos. That's what this forum is all about.

I tried about 5 different brands and wasn't crazy about any. I don't mind installing some if they look like the ones on the Z06. The Z06 factory splash guards look OK.
I am waiting for someone vendor to make some like this (fingers crossed)
The rotors don't have any rust becasuse the car is a show car - driven only 100 miles in three months - plus the painting - plus it had been driven the day before this photo.
How small are your hands or do you have some other trick to keeping the inside of your rims so clean? Mine always have some sort of something in them (road dirt?) and I can't reach in far enough to clean them out...tell me your trick, PLEASE
Too late for me. The area behind both the front and rear wheels are all chipped as well as the rocker panels. Do I care? Nope, too busy having fun actually driving the car. My goal is to log 200K miles before I replace my C6 with a C7. Only 197K to go.
