I tried loading a CD into the 6-disc changer today. It was made up of MP3 files. As it loaded, about 20 seconds later (but before anything played) the display read "TOC ERROR" and the disc ejected. I can't find anything in the owner's manual about this - any idea what is causing this?

Sounds like the Table of Contents on your disk wasn't burned or created correctly by your computer. The MP3 decoder in your CD changer can't read what is on the disk. Try checking your settings on your computer making sure that your burner is set to Close the Disk and not leave the session open. If your session is being left open then the disk is not playable yet. Other things can be the cause too, but that is the most common one i encountered before.
My guess is that TOC stands for table of contents. Is the media bad? I have a NAV, so I don't have the MP3 player and I'm just guessing. Do other media play OK??
Yes, I've burned a few other MP3's and they loaded and played fine. Just a problem with this one. I was concerned about the error message but if TOC stands for "Table of Contents" then I'm not too concerned. I'll just use the disc as a $0.05 frisbee!
Thanks for the quick feedback. You all are so helpful!
