Its all about customer satisfaction and you seem to bring it.
The thing is Jay, everyone in life one way or another is a customer of sorts and no one likes a run around or Bullsh1t. I do whatever i have to do to Make a customer and Keep a customer happy. My phone rings off the hook all day with people calling to ask either advise or questions. Are 90% of them interested in something i sell? Probably not but they still get 100% of my attention because i know i would want the same. Its not easy picking things out for your car especially when you arent really familiar with how things work. Be straight up and honest with people and you will earn their respect and hopefully the business. I have turned customers away because i couldnt offer them the best price on something. Hell if Tirerack sells a tire cheaper then i can get it, you will be rest assured thats where im sending you.
For example: When someone orders a set of custom wheels from me and they take lets say 6 weeks to be made. I make sure that i call the customer at least once a week to keep them aprised of the progress and to see if they have any questions or comments because no feedback is worse then bad feedback to me. It leaves me nothing to go on.. nothing to improve on.
A happy customer will most of the time be nice enough to refer people, and thats what this business is based on. Referrals and trust. Id imagine its the same with any business but in this industry the amount of personal interaction varies from dealer to dealer. I like to do everything over the phone or in person. Email, albiet very convenient, isn't always the best way to give a product explaination and prefer to talk to customers.
Just the way i do things.

Not an expert on aftermarket rims, do all of them come with those bolt patterns along the outside?
Real forged multipiece wheels normally have bolts unless you get into the upper echelon of wheels like the HRE 8 series which has the bolts but on the inside of the wheel.
While some people dont like the bolts, imagine denting a wheel and having to replace the entire wheel instead of a 150 dollar rim half

And up to now I thought those 'bolt's were just cosmetic.
Now I'm REALLY sold on that type of wheel.

Stanley, Sadly most wheels that have bolts ARE just cosmetic, as ridiculous as that sounds. Companies try to pass off the multi-piece look to add that "Motorsport" style to a single piece cast wheel. You will not find a Single piece true forged wheel with bolts. Multipiece wheels have the advantage of easy replacement when damage occurs. They are also extremely strong compared to the cast single piece wheels that run about 800-1300 dollars a set. Forged custom wheels usually range from 2800-20,000 a set. On the low end this still seems astronomical to most people but the limiting factors of preset cast wheels does not appeal to most. Especially those that live in an area like NYC where you could fish in the potholes after it rains
