No you want high heat. The hotter you get the stickers the better.
I thought some had a problem with high heat. Is there any vinyl attached to those visors at all? Guess I didn't really know why several stressed low heat.

There's no vinyl. Using low heat is why some have residue.
I live in an apartment with no plug ins in the parking garage.
Want to take off sun visors. How do I do it? Anyone?
Understand what you're saying. Those of us who posted helpful suggestions above did not know that.
However, keep in mind that there are lighted visor vanity mirrors on the back side of those sun visors, so that will complicate the removal. Also, I should have mentioned that I did pull off the warning labels on both of my C6s without using any heat at all. But there was residue.
Maybe someone who has removed the sun visors will chime in. You might also check the C6 FAQ to see if anyone already has.
Sorry, we all thought we were being helpful. Hope someone who has done this responds.
There is a great probibility that you will break the bezels that are around the base of the visor mount. They are not easy to remove. If there is any way possible to do what you are trying to do with the visors in car, I suggest you do that. I hope that this helps some.
I'm glad I ran across this thread. I waved a hair dryer over each sticker for maybe 10 seconds (high heat). They peeled right off and without leaving even a trace of residue.
I kind of like the 'covering them with leather' plan, but I beat the problem tonight.
Two Christmas' ago, my mom gave me one of these gel pads that you can put in the fridge or microwave to use as a cool or hot pad - you know what I'm talking about here? Anyway, I have yet to use the thing, so I dug it out, put it in the microwave until it got so hot I could barely touch it. Took a little towel to insulate myself and ran down to the vette. Held the gel pad on the stickers until I figured the glue was hot... and then just peeled of the stickers.

These labels are heat-pressed on like T-shirt graphics with a hot glue. High heat seems to be the way to remove. Solvents won't disolve the glue as it is a type of thermoplastic adhesive "hot glue", not solvent based. I did one side with a moderate heat with a blow drier (pretty warm to the touch) and it left a strip of residue. Did the other side when it was too hot to touch for long and it pealed off very easy and clean. Removed the residue on the other side with the blow drier and a brass suede brush. Perfect, like never there!
