Default steering question

My Z51 C6 does not like to leave a parking space with the wheels turned within half way to the full lock left or right position. The tires just do not track properly and they skid, drag and jump. Isn't the alignment supposed to adjust the turning circle diameter of each wheel to compensate for the differing radii? I noticed this from the first test drive when the car had 1.5 miles registered on the odometer. Is this normal due to the tire size? Do all C6's do this or should I have the alignment checked?

My Z51 does it too. I notice it when I back out of the space at work. This weekend we had rain here, and when I was turning into my back alley, the wheels were really scuffing on the road.

Is this perhaps a consequence of a limited-slip rear end?

I've never noticed this issue with my first C6 coupe or my current C6 'vert.

On my C6 at anything close to full lock left or right the front wheels drag.

A result of alignment/tire size/speed?

Tire width mainly. One edge of the front tire needs to turn at a different speed than the other because they're turning different radi, but it can't because the tire is one piece. Not noticable with narrow tires, but becomes increasingly noticable as tire width is increased.
