I had a Honda S2000 for a couple of years. I now have the C6. The two cars do not compare. The build quality of the Honda MAY have something over the Vette, though I have not even seen that. But the C6 is much more sophisticated. The ride, the sound system, the nav, the torque, the looks it receives, the seats, the sound, the convenience of a nearby dealership, did I mention the torque...? Short answer....I like the vette and wouldn't trade it for two S2000's.

American vs. Japanese
400 hhp vs. 240 hhp
400 lbs. torque vs. 162 lbs. torque
105" wheelbase vs. 94" wheelbase
19" stock tires vs. 17" stock tires
12.7 second 1/4 mile vs. 14.1 second 1/4 mile
Other than the push button on the dashboard to start them, or perhaps the gas that goes into their tanks, I don't see anything in common with these two cars.

105" wheelbase vs. 94" wheelbase

ok, i will bite, one is a chick car, the other goes without saying. Had the use of a s2000, (female friend), was exhausting going around in a motorcycle on 4 wheels. really had to get the revs up tp have fun.

the local honda salesperson told me the s2000 runs 11.90's in the quarter!
(this is a true story btw!)

Tell you what. Go drive an S2000 and then drive a C5 or C6 and then YOU tell us how they differ.
They're both sports cars but that's where the similarity ends.
