Anyone using some type of after market theft deterrent? I'm not sure how easily the C6 can be stolen, and hopefully no one has had their baby ripped off. On my C5, I use a metal cover that goes over the steering wheel. It has a space in the middle that will allow the Club to be attached. I use the quality Club with the cylindrical key. The metal cover is so they can't cut the steering wheel.

Yeah, I use Glock, but I just don't want to come back to an empty parking space.

Default Don't know

I don't know how easily one could be stolen, but if they figure it out "Revelco" is the only way to go. Then a tow or flatbed is all you have to worry about.

Default Alot of times I find these anti-theft devices can be an inconvience to the owner.

Alarms included as when something goes wrong it messes everything up.

I have a lock that goes around the clutch. It basically prevents the clutch from being depressed which prevents car from being started even with the FOB. I gues the only way around it is a flatbed.

The Club is worthless!

All the bad guy needs is a pair of sharp scissors to cut through the steering wheel and rotate the Club off.

That's why I use the metal cover. The Ravelco looks interesting though.

I would have thought that it was pretty hard to drive away without a FOB. A determined thief and a flatbed can steal just about anything, and then, hopefully, there's OnStar.

I had a lo Jack system installed. Also helped reduce my insurance rate.

After looking at the Club, etc. I decided something different. I just purchased (waiting for it to arrive) an Alpha Wheel Lock. It uses the same principle as the "Boot" that law inforcement agencies use. It attaches to the wheel so the car can't be driven.

And what do Smith and Wesson do when you're away from your car and someone steals it?

The problem with On*Star is that all the thieves know about it - and which antenna to remove in order to defeat it.

Approximately how much does LoJack cost? I couldn't get any indication from their website.
