Came back to the house to get some tools and the Red Vette is gone...My wife took it to work today, and left her Tahoe with a note that said "will fix something special for supper tonight"......YA RIGHT..
Sounds like she'll find reasons for you to NEVER drive it again. Whatever you get in return, it's doubtfull it'll be worth losing the vette for! (I could be wrong about this part).
Last weekend the wife and I were out of town. We took our dog and stayed at a hotel thats not pet friendly. I go down to have a quick breakfest and my wife was going to the spa. Our dog rarely barks. So, I'm at breakfast looking out the window and I see my C6 flying out of the parking lot. Then turn around and come back. I head for the door as my wife comes running in. The dog started barking and she was going to take it to the relatives house but when she past by the restraunt and saw the look on my face she thought she should stop.
I was grateful at that time it was her driving the car, other than that I prefer she doesn't.

To late sucker! Never, never let the other in your life drive "your" C6-you will never, never get it back! There will always be a reason why they "need" to drive it. Okay so now you screwed up, what can you do? Since it is clear your not smart enough to think of this yourself, sell the Tahoe and buy yourself a new C6(smart move) or learn to like driving the overweight "trucklet" Tahoe(dumb move.)
But I feel your pain, I let my wife drive my C6 by herself. When she came back you looked me straight in the eye and stated in a very hard voice "I like driving this car"-yea, I got the message.......

How much longer do you think it will be "her" Tahoe? You gotta nip this in the bud. My wife has a bad back and can't drive a manual transmission for more than a few miles without pain. She needs an upright SUV seating postion so I won't have your problem.

My wife hates my vette.
It's a C4 and she hates many things about it, and hates that I take it on trips with 170K miles on it. So, she told me that if I am going to keep going on long trips (Cruise-in and Carlisle) that I have to get a new vette.
I'll now pause for a moment to allow you to feal sympathy for me..... My wife has told me that I HAVE TO buy a new corvette. So I have told her that I would have one by Carlisle.
The only issue is that I don't have the problem that you do since I know my vette will always be waiting for me when I get home. I have been casually asking her which options she does/doesn't like and quietly hoping that I can find something I like to discourage her from driving it. (I think the Sport Seats with a manual tranny and Corsa's might do it.... but I'm still doing research)
