Default Question about DigitalCorvette?

I am new to the corvette community and have only been a member of the Forum for a couple of months. Is Digital just an alternate website or are serious differences in opinions among members of the two sites? I had never heard of Digital until I read the thread about one member's bad experience with a salesperson at a well known dealership. Curious about the website.

Personally, I like this site better. I don't know how many members are on Digital, but some mentioned 80,000 here. Obviously, not all are active.

Seems I get better answers here and faster too, just my .02 cents.

I think that Digital Corvettes is a relatively new, compared to the CF, forum dedicated to Corvette. It has a somewhat different format and far fewer members. I'm also registered there but have never posted. I personally prefer the CF "hands down."
FWIW. . .

There's plenty of members who surf multiple Corvette sites, so
trying it out for yourself is the best way to know.

They've been around since July of 2003 and have been vastly growing ever since (over 32,000 members and constantly rising). It's a friendly community with tons of active and knowledgable Corvette nuts. Gobs of photos of all subjects and mass amounts of videos.

No matter what site you surf, just make sure its a Corvette one.

Here's a cool quote I came across from another member:

"I don't understand the negative vibes between CF and DC. Both sites are excellent sources of info and have helped me out on many issues. We all share a love for an American icon and when I wave at another Vette I don't wonder what site he/she belongs to. I wave because we both have excellent taste in cars."

Am a member of both sites. Enjoy the information Mr Conti shares with all of us. Do believe CF leads the way as far as members and active posting goes. I surf 3 Ford Lightning sites there is always somewhere with the answer I need. I go by 05BLACKVETTE on the other.

I agree- the 2 sites benefit each other. Any important news on one site is soon posted on the other. Each is better off because of the other.

I surf 3 Corvette sites (CF, DC, and CAC). This is the biggest, but the others are informative too. I don't quite understand why people who like one site dislike another. The bottom line is we're all Corvette people.

Default There is more traffic on this forum and more members

Digital Corvettes and especially Corvetteactioncenter.com seem to be dead threads unlike here.

Both sites are great. I surf each of them at least once a day for the latest C6/Z06 info, lol.

Great people there too. Some dual memberships, although I promise not to "OUT" anyone but myself with this post Way more info here though as the threads seem to be more active. Mostly all of the same sponsers.

There are other Corvette sites besides Corvette Forum. Not all but a lot of them were started by people that were banned from CF.

I don't mean to sound naive, but how the Hell do you get banned from an automobile forum? What kind of transgression could get you banned?
We're all adults.

Some of them may have started that way, but I'm not sure I'd say "a lot of them."

In any event, Corvetteforum.com practice is that we don't post negative messages about other sites -- even when that courtesy is not returned -- and some of the posts here might be considered negative.

Neither do we allow folks to use Corvetteforum.com to promote other sites. The Internet is a big place. There's room for a lot of sites. People will find the Internet content they need.

Patrick started DC, but he is still a member here, although he chooses not to post.

DC started out more as a midwest regional forum then expanded into what it is today.
