Navigation/Radio Question?
Not a big deal, hit source, change channels, then hit nav again (if you need to see the map realtime.) I find that I just use the HUD for the directions most of the time and leave the unit on the radio screen.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I wish we had such a capability. However, some corporate lawyer at GM decided the liability of our PASSENGER working something as complicated as a KEYPAD would be too distracting to the driver. My wife's '05 STS has a keypad input on the touchscreen for the OnStar phone dialing and the Bluetooth phone dialing. Both "grey" out above about 2 MPH. WTF?!?! Why can't a passenger dial a phreakin' phone number, or choose a radio station by number? Why not use the passenger seat "weight sensor" that determines whether a passenger is sitting in the seat for airbag deployment reasons (and if that person is > 40lbs in weight; lower inflation speed for children?) If there's a passenger present, enable the "distracting" functions. Geesh.
I'm just gonna keep on bitc4ing until someone in GM gets a clue and realizes that:
1) We have a 3200 lbs missle,
2) With 400 HP at our command,
3) But they don't trust us to have the attention span operate the touchscreen,
4) Even after we read a whole page of disclaimers and press an "I AGREE" button.
This really pi$$e$ me off... BTW, the Bluetooth handsfree works perfectly if I pull my damn phone out of my pocket and dial the number on that. Why would keying it on the touchscreen be ANY less distracting than using a tiny handset??!?!!?!?!??!?!!!
