CHAMP Cars are on the track at L.B.!
It's going to be a loud day with those pop-offs going off right in front of my office and then down the tunnel by the Convention center. And whompus, I know they are not "racing" today just running the cars and doing a few hot laps. What a great sound!
Too bad they don't run the GTP1 cars!

Toyota Altaltic just got done with their practice. Then CHAMP, then Trans-Am and CHAMP qualifying at 2:00. What a great day for a drive! I wonder if I'll get any work done before I walk down there? If I could only sneak my VR down there for a quick couple of turns, he he he

Ok this is killing me! Trans Am out there now with a couple of C5Rs doing battle with some Vipers amongst others. I'm starting to make the shifts! Time to go for a walk!

I used to work with CART before the big split, and am still a die hard fan. I wish I could be there for the race, but can't make it from Indiana for the weekend!!
I miss the days of being part of the action........now I just have to settle for being a fan.
I like the IRL, but Champ Car still has them beat.

Just got back. MUCH more crowded than normal for a Friday. hope this is a good sign and will be a good weekend for Champcar.. so they can stay around and put the IRL out of business (wishful thinking I know). think I'm gonna drive my C6 down there tomorrow
