Guess Im getting OLD....
UPS just dropped a load at my door. Boxes full of stuff.....
Borla Exaust
Kooks headers
CCW Wheels
Kenwood Nav
Color Keyed Interior Trim
Rally Stripe Kit
Loyds Mats
Window Tint Kit
Carbon Fiber Fuel Rail Covers
Base Suspension Sway Bars
Body Color Caliper Paint
3M Clear Bra
Car Cover
Z51 emblems
Well, I sent the stuff back. Id rather spend my time driving my Vette than working on it....
Besides, Im hard of hearing, I dont race, the chrome wheels might rust, I know where Im going, Im color blind, my hands shake to bad to get it on straight, factory mats are fine, cant see in the dark now, what the hell is a fuel rail cover, rides good the way it is, yellow calipers, ya gotta be kiddin, I like my car topless and without a bra, to much trouble to use, If I dont advertise it as such, maybe the tangs will leave me alone,.....

Well, I'm not sure that age has a lot to do with it, but there seem to be two camps of Vette owners, and I would refer to them as "drivers" and "lookers". Not saying one is better than the other, but I'm solidly in the former group, and nothing goes on my car that's not for function. I enjoy HPDE track schools, and will be doing my third in the Corvette this weekend. From my perspective, the most valuable mod is seat time with a good instructor. I went to all 18" wheels in order to have better tire selection. I plan on adding headers, but only after LS2 edit is available, and then some minor suspension work, but that's it.
So, I applaud your decision, stay behind the wheel and out of the garage!

My first guess would be that you're just saying you don't need those things at all and you really didn't have a pile of them.

Ok 409 .. gettin' old huh?? Or maybe, just maybe, you don't have enough time to enjoy all the toys you already have?? It is a terrible burden guys like you and I have you know. Too many cars (as if possible) and too little time!
