Thank goodness I read this thread. I just paid for a rear tire which had picked up a screw in the sidewall of the rear tire. They had to get it from Memphis. I will be at the Goodyear store first thing Monday morning for a refund. Never even thought to look at the warantee for that coverage. Thanks guys.

Take the warranty booklet with you to the Goodyear dealer.
I found a 2 inch nail right in the center of my right rear tire a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday and here is my story.
I went to my local Goodyear dealer and they would not even look at it. Actually the guy behind the counter told me that he thought run flats were not reparable. I was forwarded to the local authorized Goodyear dealer. When I got there he told me that they don't fix runflats any more because they ruin too many rims. I asked him if he was the authorized GY dealer and he say's yes. I asked him to call GY and ask where I can get my tire fixed and he said there was no point since the call would come back to his shop. Next I ask what should I do and he replies 'Don't know'.
Next I went to the Chevy dealer down the street he told me that his tire fixit guy was gone for the day and he referred me to a fourth independent tire shop. This place fixed it in 15 minutes.
FWIW anyone in the Riverside CA area don’t bother with the GY dealer on Limonite (a Scher franchise) or Just Tires (the authorized Riverside area GY dealer) on Tyler..... These people are useless
The final place that fixed the tire was Tire Pro's (Bud's Tire and Wheel) on Indiana. In fact they gave me the keyfob and asked me to drive it into the repair bay. They knew to crack the windows before lifting the vehicle as well.
Oh yeah I called the 800 number and after a 5 minute wait the line went dead. This happed 4 times on 2 separate phones.
I need to call GY customer service but I keep forgetting. I don't really think the problem is with run flats. I think it is with the 19 inch rims and the sensors. Most of these people just don't know how to get the tire off the rim.
I will consider something other that EMT when the time comes.
my tire dealer is fine with working on run-flats but I am a little suprised he did not know they were covered on warantee, however I do realize I should have known this. I thought I had read everything but I had not. Once again, thanks so much for the info. That tire was $440 plus tax.
The GY dealer I went to was a company-owned store. They ordered the replacement tire without even looking at the cut on the sidewall. When it came in the service writer asked if I talked price with the manager - I said it was a warranty replacement since the tire only had 250 miles on it. They pulled it onto the rack, called GY for authorization and then did their thing. I asked the young guy doing the work to be extra carefull with the rims and he said "that's why the manager was having him do it" I watched the whole process and I've never seen anyone that careful before. Other than the wait for the replacement tire, I was very satisfied with the service. No arguments at all on warranty replacement. When I left the store I asked the manager to get GY to let him stock replacement F1's and Supercars - he said he would ask.
I got the tire warranty for the run flats for $300 and five years when I bought the car. This doesn't help finding someone who repairs it, but with every vette I have had the tires were like magnets picking up nails. Also if you hit a pot hole or something damages the wheel they will replace it and tire repairs and replacements are free as long as you have 1/32 tread. Seemed worth it to me and I think you can contact your dealer after purchase with 90 days or something like that and still get the tire warranty.
Screw in tire after 2 months, took it to a quality tire shop $20.00 and they had a hard time getting it to re-seal took alot of pressure.Best 20 bucks I ever spent took ,them an hour they were real careful and I was right there.
I know that Classic Chevy in Altamonte Springs can fix them, but that's not much help to you. I'd be interested to know the name of the Sanford shop since that's just a few miles from me.
I also would like the name of the Sanford shop to fix C6 tires.
Just looking at the Goodyear site. When you search for dealers, there is a symbol that shows if they deal with runflats. That might help us all.
Of course do I trust a web site that allows you to search for tires for your vehicle but the most recent year you can choose is a 2004 model year.
went to the Goodyear store first thing this am and took the EMT Warantee and registration to show when I pruchased the Vette. They called Goodyear and after about 20 minutes they gave me a receipt and assured me Goodyear will send me a check for my 485 dollars I was out for the tire ruined last week by a screw in the edge that could not be fixed. Thank goodness for the Corvette Forum. THANKS ALL
Glad to hear that Richard!.,..i Finally Took my car in today to take the nail out i had in my tire for 2 weeks now...GY Dealer...Guess what...They Broke My Sensor...Have to wait now a week for the replacement...

Goodyear's web site is a joke as far as locating run flat dealers. They will only search 50 miles max from the zip code you enter. If you're planning a trip, better figure on spending a couple of hours researching zip codes, and then locating run flat dealers on Goodyear's site. If you're planning a 3-4,000 mile trip, especially out west, that's a lot of zip codes and you had better remember to take the list with you. I remember in the late 90's you could go to Goodyear's web site and left click on "Run Flat Dealers" and put in the state and it would give you all the retailers in that state. Much easier, and quicker, to do the search then with their present method.
I was planning a trip from Springfield, MO to Phoenix, AZ in 1998 or 1999 and checked Goodyear's site for the location of run flat dealers en route. Once you left OK City, there was not another run flat dealer until you got to Phoenix, 1008 miles. I don't care how many cell phones you have or how many AAA membership's you have, if you have a flat tire and there is no run flat dealer around, the whole concept on "Run Flat Tires" stinks. I'd rather have non-run flat tires and a space saver spare tire with me. If I did have a cell phone and a AAA membership I could call them and a local garage could at least come to my assistance and change my flat if I didn't want to change it( I have the roadside asssistance on my cars through my State Farm Auto Ins.). With runflats, there's no spare for them to install on your car, so what good is the AAA membership if you are 500 miles from a Goodyear Run flat dealer. AAA won't flat bed your car 500 miles for free to the closest run flat dealer. They have a distance limit.

Authorized Goodyear shops will fix the flat for free -- but bring in your paperwork!
The shop I took mine to got in an argument with me about whether the road hazard warranty was included from the factory. Luckily, I had forseen this problem and had the paperwork in hand. It still took a bit of convincing and he wasn't happy about it, and apparently, he's charged people with factory run flats in the past.
More Bad News....Got Ready to Leave the House and Notice the tire was kinda Low...Check it and it was FLAT...Wass Pissed Off bad Now..Not Only Do i have to wait for the PArt i had no where to go now...Called the Dealership They didnt have any sensors So Told Goodyear they Better Next Day one to Them.Which they are going to do.Had to drive back to the GY and get a New Valve Stem Put on. It was leaking from There...They Should of Known this after breaking the sensor There...Oh Well Now i HAve Air in tire and so far no Leaking...i Hope Tommorow will be a better day when they instal the New Sensor...Wish Me Luck..
On 4-9-05 I posted my problem with Goodyear runflats. I was out of town since then and it's only today I got a chance to go to the place recommended by goodyear, Discount Auto Tire in Sanford. About 25 miles from my house. When I arrived the manager told me there was a 15 dollar charge. After showing him the warrenty paper, he called Goodyear. While waiting for the reply, I asked if they had the special equipment for the new corvette tires. He then told me that the use the old equipment and have never had any problems. It's then that I realized that they were just going to "plug" the tire instead of repairing the tire from the inside. It's then that Goodyear must of told me of the correct repair procedures as he then told me they could not repair the tire under warranty and he suggested that I go the Goodyear store down the block.
I recalled the Goodyear 800 number. The rep called several stores, she then told me to go to a Goodyear store several miles away. She called then to confirm that they can repair the tire. I then went to the store. The manager said they would repair the tire for 60 dollars. I showed him the warranty and after several calls, he said they would fix the tire. After an hour and a half wait, they finally pulled my car into the bay. A short time later they said it was done. The manager then told me I would have to bring the car back next week as the manager is the only one who could propery repair the tire and that they did a tempory repair. ( I'm betting just a plug)
I'm totally frustrated!!
I picked up a screw a few weeks ago, took it to the Goodyear dealer on Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral for repairs. They had all the tools and did an excellent job in about an hours time. Honored the warrenty without a problem.
The installer was kind enough to use my puck with a floor jack instead of the lift. Reinstalled the wheel using a torque wrench.
They did tell me that replacement tires are in very short supply right now and it would take several days to get one if needed.
