Default changing the clock time

Hey members,

If you have the nav package, how do you change the clock time?

hit the lower button on the left side (just above the rocker button you use to change cd tracks). This brings up a screen that allows you to adjust the time and time zones.

Or, you can just press and hold the time on the navigation display screen.

That's the way I do it. Press and hold your finger on the clock/time and it will bring up the time change adjustment screen after about 2 seconds of holding down.

New cars should come with an OWNERS MANUAL to help with these issues.

The Nav manual references a page no. for setting the time on the clock, but there's no info. on that page for setting the clock. Nor is there info. anywhere else in the manual that I can find.

Finally someone that agrees with me...in the time it takes to go to your PC, get on the Forum, ask a question and wait for an answer, one can read the owners manual and ....presto...the answer will be presented to you!!!! Stop with the dumb questions that can amswered simply by reading the manual, and lets use the Forum for some really good questions, ideas, and discussions!!!

It is easier to ask the Forum. Someone will respond to even the silliest questions.

Silly questions are those that are not asked. I found the clock set in the nav cd.

This just proves the old adage false.

There ARE stupid questions.

Owners manual.. we dont need no stinkin owwwwneerrrrs mannuuuallllllssss - I for one like to figure out what the hell all the buttons do without reading about em

Oh and YEA stop asking stupid questions you can read about on owners manual... cant ya see ya are taking valuable time which could be better used figuring out how many coats of Zaino to use or which color is faster!!! Or better yet which exhaust sounds better: Corsa or BB's!! The nerve of you I tell ya!!! Stop posting these types of posts or else we wont be able to find out if the Z51 or the C55 package is really better....

Someone asks a question on the forum and some members try to respond with helpful info. Others criticize for even asking the question. Which is the more constructive approach?

great point. the only thing "negative" *I* see about this post... is that it caused one of our old trolls to crawl out from under their rock. too bad.

to the OP.... another vote for "push and hold the time display". it'll take you straight to the time set screen/controls. oh, and welcome to corvetteforum.com.
