Engine light!!!

Engine light!!!
1400 miles and my engine light just came on. (Not blinking) I checked the gas cap, & I am using 92 octane. Anyone had the problem, if so any ideas before I call the dealer.

if you got water in the engine then you most likely burned out an O2 sensor.
If it's a minor irregularity that has caused it to come on then it should reset itself after a couple days worth or restarts.

Mine came on after 80 miles. I topped of the tank with fresh gas and it didn't go away by 200 miles. Set up an appointment with the dealer to check it out. Filled up again with gas and sure enough it went out while driving to the dealer. I now have 3000 miles on it and haven't seen it since.
