Took delivery of my Artic White C6 on October 25, 2004. Just turned 1385 miles on the odometer yesterday. Have not had any problems with the car at all, even had the Crank Shaft Balancer Bolt issue repaired before it failed. Yesterday while heading out to a local cruise my first issue reared its ugly head. Some idiot cut me off, so I let in on blowing the horn at him for a good twenty seconds, when I lifted my hand from the steering wheel, the Air Bag Warning Light came on. The darn thing stayed on for a good fifteen minutes. After I shut the engine down briefly and then restarted it, the light did not come back on. Later on the way home, did not have any problems all the way home. So, am I to suppose that this was just a one time accurance?

Possibly, but I wouldn't count on it. Get out somewhere appropriate and try the horn again for 20 seconds. That might help you decide.

Looks like GM is aware of the problem, they've issued an information bulletin. Found this in another post, maybe some of the GM tech members will post the actual text:

Good Luck, and hope it does not happen again.

Nice Color, if you know what I mean....
