Help me
I bought a new c6 last month. I have not washed or waxed a car in several years. This is my third covette. My problem is I cannot stand to see any dirt or bugs on my car. I always told myself I would not be ****. Is this normal? I bought this car because it had most everthing. Now I am thinking about all sorts of mods. I think that I might be sick.
Is this normal? If it is how do I get over it? Please help! It might be catching. I need help! Sid

Ok....First Thing/..\..Go Buy Your Self a Zaino Kit! And Wash yea Car every Saturday Like i Do... Sometimes Twice a Week...Zaino is the way to Go...I Hate Washing Cars Too...But Since i had this Vette 3/30/05 I have Washed it 6 Times

Not normal for some, but fairly normal for a lot of vette owners. I've got the same problem with trying to keep it clean. My silver coupe doesn't show dirt as badly as some, but we're getting the pollen showers right now and it's keeping me busy. I'm washing mine (25-cent do-it-yourself car wash) about every 4 or 5 days. Haven't been able to put the several coats of wax (or Zaino) on it yet.
Did finally talk myself out of most mods. Still thinking about the new GM performance exhaust, though.
There used to be help groups for people like this, but first you have to admit it's a problem. Some of us don't.
Then you have to want help. Again, some of us don't.

I am not sure what you are asking us.
When my LMB Vert is in the garage, she is covered.
I don't drive in the rain if I can help it. And I don't drive my baby when it snows.
I wash her when she is dirty. And she gets dirty without much effort.
I have bought a california duster, which removes very light dust around the back end, and this saves a little bit of time.
But for the most part, I wash her every week.
I've got about 6 coats of Zaino on her.

Im not doing any mods on mine either. Excluding the ones I have already done. And maybe headers. And stereo work. And bluetooth kit. Outside of that Im not doing any mods though. No, really... Im serious. Well, maybe a couple of other minor things. Honestly, minor things. Like wheels...

No, this is normal. Our neighbor just purchased a car cover and made cutouts for the windows and rear plate (kind of a maxi-bra). He drives his car (Pontiac Aztek) with the cover installed. Been told that most Aztek owners do the same. Not sure if you can buy one in standard C6 colors.
