I drove mine for about a week before I installed my CAGS. Now it drives like a normal 6 speed. No it doesn't, it drive way faster than a normal 6 speed!
Yep. CAGS eliminator will work for this. Install is very easy. There are pictures and more information on the FAQ. The shift light will still come on, but you will be able to shift into 2nd.
Yes to all of the above. BTW - It's a CAGS Eliminator. You have CAGS (Computer Aided Gear Selection) already installed; you want to bypass it. Also, DON'T 'force' it into second, just pause a second and it will let you shift normally.

I was wondering why in the world he would want to install a CAGS.
Seriously, mine doesn't bother me at all. I planned on installing the eliminator prior to purchasing the car, but it rarely kicks in. I usually shift to second at 20 mph, above the CAGS limit.

I doubt that I ever will install this thing. Just run up to about 2800 rpms in first and your problem is gone
