Anyone heard of dealers selling new vettes over MSRP?
I suppose there are some people gullible enough to pay the silly "market adjustment", so there actually may be dealers who've sold a few C6 Corvettes at over MSRP. Anyone who has visited here, though, quickly learns there are better deals out there.
"market adjustment" --- oh brother, only in America could we invent such a pile of crap. How about "Dealer's randomly added profit adjustment"?
wish people would say what they mean. My pants don't fit because I'm old and FAT, not because I possess a "corpulence adjustment", not because I am "gravitationally challenged".
Dealers will charge what they can lure a sucker into paying. Big cities seem worse to me - plenty of people with more money than common sense. Take a drive out to the boonies -- in rural DE or MD, at least you'll just find straight sticker price, not more. Check the dealers in here and you'll find several who will give you a good deal.
Chapasj, I would never pay Classic or any other dealer in the Orlando area for additional dealer prep. It just total what they are doing. I'm going to do the museum delivery on my 06 coupe. Even throught its about $500 I feel its better prep work and I get a VIP tour of the factory to boot.
