I Am Trying To Upgrade The Speakers And Amp Etc. On My C6, Bose Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves Calling This A Nice Radio. The Problem I Am Having Is Finding Any Replacement Speakers To Replace The 10" Subs. Please If You Have Any Ideas Let Me Know.

Go to Crutchfield.com. They have everything! you can do a product search based on the 2005 C6. Follow this Link and it should work for you...otherwise just go to their website and enter your vehicle info, they have dozens of choices.
There are some 10" slimline speakers out there with the brand name of Earthquake. Do a Google and you should be able to find some at a reasonable price.

Agreed. While the high end sounds better now than when it was new, the bass still disappears with any road or engine noise. They could have done better.

I did not even know there was a 10" sub with the Bose system....I can't even hear it! Where is it by the way, I would like to show my car audio guy to see what we can figure out! He made an really cool set up for my 350Z roadster from the crappy Bose sub.
I got an estimate on an audio upgrade, and was tolf their were
two 6 1/2" speakers in front, with seperate tweeters, and two 6" speakers in the back. No 10" sub's with this system????

I wholeheartedly agree! Have you ever seen the $5 Radio Shack quality speakers they stick in their top of the line home speakers? Their pro audio sub sounds good, but it hits in a very small frequency range, but not low enough to give a kick in the chest. I know I'm spoiled with my Cerwin Vega T36 horn-loaded subs, but Bose components are simply overpriced POS units...much like Monster Cable, not that there's anything wrong with the quality of Monster Cable.
There used to be a phrase commonly associated with Bose: No lows, no highs, all mids. Add "rattles" for their Corvette systems.
GM, please sell me a Corvette with good wiring in a standard configuration and no Bose!

I used 8" jl subs in the doors.Custom mounting flanges were made out of wood ( custom stereo shop) and they fit ( barely). They sound great and look stock.Powered by a 120watt Alpine stereo amp.
anyone have any new ideas, still having trouble finding the 10" woofers
They're in the doors. There is a 3.5 inch "twiddler" above the armrest, and the 10 inch thumper is below it. Both are crappy, though the 3.5 is the real sore point. Replace that with a mid with a real tweeter. The stock thumpers actually move air, but they cut off too low, so there's a big sonic hole in the spectrum between low bass and midrange. Just about any small powered sub will fill that sonic hole. Some guys use the little Clarion, others use a small bazooka.
It has some nice features like the traffic button and the info ID on songs & station

Just my 0.02 cents!
But there is just too much static in the FM receiver. I guess if you put a CD in it ..it sounds ok...I have not kept up to date on receivers like computers along with these MP-3's. All new stuff to me.

If you like it, you like it. But I must ask, do you ever attend live concerts or listen to any other sort of live music performances? That's how music should sound. Can you honestly say that the Bose system in the Corvette sounds like that?
The radio sometimes wakes up with the wrong antenna selected. By switching to AM then back to FM, you force it to cycle through the antenna selections and your noise will be gone until it wakes up confused again.

The say is "No Highs, No Lows, It must be Bose"
Actually i think that the Bose system in my C3500 Crew Cab dually sounds pretty good now that I added two 10" subs, but the Corvette Bose just doesn't do a very good job at higher volume levels, (nor is it excelent at low levels either).
