Performance axle

What is the difference in mpg between the stock gear ratios and the performance axle in an automatic C6?

I'm getting the claimed 28 MPG highway with the 3.15 rear axle. I haven't heard anyone claim better MPG. So if the 3.15 hurts mileage, it certainly isn't by enough to be noticeable. How you drive affects mileage more.

Getting 18 MPH in Southern Ca traffic with 3.15 - Unless you plan on doing a LOT of miles on the car it shouldnt be a sig. factor in your choice

20.1 with auto and 3.15. EXACTLY the same as my C5 with an auto and 3.15. with the exact same type of driving.
