I love this car and I hated to take it to the Dealer, but the clock and radio display kept going crazy. Sometimes it is fine, and sometimes the bottom half of the clock numbers are gone or parts of the CD track designatin is missing. I told the guy at the dealer to just order me a radio, but they had to check it first. So after a half a day they decided they would have to get another radio.....
From what I have read, it might take several months to get a radio. Sure wish I would have noticed this when I did my museum pickup. They would have fixed it before I drove it home.......
At least the radio still plays, an I have a 50 MI commute back home...
Isn't it annoying that you can point out a simple problem, but to get a new part you have to let some monkey stare at it and push some buttons for half a day? Oh well, at least it's a minor issue without any affect on functionality.
Six disc changer. They had to pull the car apart an get the bar code off of the radio, as Lager pointed out. It was the first one they had done, so I watched very carefully. It was a learning experience for all of us. Mechanic was careful, did a good job, put back in all screws, no rattles. Its funny that GM cant just send a radio. Labor is done twice....
