Okay, I think we've all but concluded this feature is pretty useless but I thought I recall someone saying that for those of us that have the NAV system you can set the level of automatic control from to low/med/high? I can't seem to get mine to do anything other than be on or off...did I miss something?
For those of us without nav you can do this simply by hitting the button. With each press it switches to the different levels and displayes that on the screen.
To my knowledge it was silvercoupe and he was talking about the standard radio non-nav.
For those of us with nav its only a ON-OFF.
I thought it was on the 1SB non_nav, especially because of the owner's manual, but it's not. Since it is in the manual, I'm guessing it's on the 1SA & 1SX radio. Maybe someone with 1SA or 1SX will chime in.
The 1SB radio uses Bose AudioPilot, which continuously adjusts the audio system to compensate for background noise.
