For what I did, top speed first 0-500 miles around the 55 MPH range, not much pass 65. Vary speed and rpm's. Just took it easy. Gave a chance to understand the C-6. (for rear axial parts)
500-1,000 medium to light driving.
After 1,000 miles and oil change, hit it pretty HARD!
Now hitting real hard! 1,300 miles and not one problem. Lucky I guess.
Follow the manual - 55 or under for the first 500 miles with no jack rabbit starts and vary the speed. Don't keep it constant very long. Also for the sake of the brakes and tires keep the braking gentle if possible for the first few hundred miles.
It's going to be hard to keep that 400HP in check for the drive, but just sit back and enjoy the scenery,
Happy driving
1. Do what the manual says.
2. Follow the above advice. I believe they covered it all.
3. Ignore people who say to break it in hard.
4. Do what the manual says.
