Default More foreign content

Crawling around under the Vette with a light to get familiar with what it looks like underneath, I was greeted with a "Made in Mexico" label on one of the front main wiring harness and a "JAPAN" cast in the aluminum end link for the rear anti roll bar That was an eye opener.

I can understand Mexico for low labor costs on putting together a wiring harness....but Japan for a precision cast/forged aluminum suspension part

I'm curious to know what the total % of foreign content is in the Corvette?

You 6-speed is made in Mexico too.

I put Z51 sway bars on my F55. They had tags on them that said "Made in Germany".

When factories have 5000 people at a lot lower wage then what Americans require it's impossible to compete.
