oil temp

Default oil temp
There is a 2 mile stretch of highway that I use to step on it. Noticed that after my second run oil temp was 241. My question is..is that normal ? I cked. the oil when I got home and the stick was hotter than any dip stick I have ever touched. 05 c6 with vortex and corsa. What are your thoughts. thanks.

Default That's fine
AT the Boundurant school, our C5 Z06 oil temps after racing were in the 300-330 range and the instructor called that "no big deal."

Mobil specs the oil at a max of 400 degrees.
