More battery problems
My battery problems are well documented. In November they put a new battery in and I had no further problems...until today. Car is dead in the garage after sitting for 4 days. The car is in reverse with the steering wheel locked, E brake on and no accessories on. Here we go again!! Back to another dealer on Friday. I'll have the clutch checked also as it is impossible to modulate smoothly. Good thing I leave the window down so I can reach in to open the hood. I shouldn't need to keep this on a Battery Tender. There is something wrong with these cars and this shutdown process.
I called Harbor Chevrolet in Falmouth Mass. and talked to a guy in service who ACTUALLY knows something about Corvettes!!! I'm cautiously optimistic. He even said he'd reschedule the appt. if it's raining. At least he knows our eccentricities! Re: the clutch he said the system might need to be bled because of air in the system.
