Anyone have a problem with the rear hatch button above the license plate?
Mine was left disconnected after a repair to the rear panel. I plugged it in and it didn't work. Then started working for a day then stopped. I double checked all connection.
My hatch button did not work at NCM delivery. It was taken back to the factory for repair. I worked until I got home, and has not worked since then. Make sure FOB is within 1 meter of the button and that the emergency brake is on. I will have the dealer look at the button when I return the car to repair the "Service Active Handling" light and numerious radio problems.

I think everybody has problems with the thing only working intermittently. There have been many posts with reports just like yours. Mine does the same thing - sometimes it works and most of the time it doesn't.
There have been some reports that the plug may be loose, but if you've checked that then you just have the same problem most of us coupe owners have.

yep, me thinks this is the one issue i truely have. as far as i can tell it's related to the actual button. i've found that the button is sometimes stuck halfway up, (wonder if it's draining the battery in this state - hhmmm...), other times the button is fully down and able to be depressed. I had mine replaced, worked for awhile then started the same problem again. it's the button sticking that is causing it.

Mine stopped working while at the Birthday Bash. They had to put a new one in for me. The engineer stated the first ones did not have any protection on the inside of the switch to keep the dirt out. Therefore, dirt would get up into the switch and casue it to stop working. Mine works fine now.

Mine is the same way . I have been waiting 2 weeks for a new button.
Mine worked for the first two weeks. Then it stopped for about two weeks before working again. I think it only worked that time about a month and hasn't worked since.
Seems like every car I have owned recently had most of the common problems for that car. Havent had one in the C6. Maybe Im paid in full for a car or two.
