Hello! Just got my C 6 Vert and I love it...
My Owners Manual.Hatch/Trunk "closing the rear Compartment.
when closing the lid on eather the coupe or Vert.
lower the rear compartment lid until the power pull feather activates???
HELP mind wont do this, is it cause I dont have 1SB. OR DO ALL C 6 Have this feature...THANK
The "pull down" feature is on the coupe only. I asked Bob at Fichtner Chevrolet if the latch was the same for coupes and convertibles, his investigation of coupes and 'verts showed different parts as I was going to try the coupe latching mechanism on my convertible. Kudos to Bob for checking 2 cars there to answer my query.

Jimmy:
even though the parts are different, will the pull-down mechanism work on the vert trunk lid too? I too, was thinking of installing the same mechanism for the same reason but been so busy with getting my wheels polished, I totally forgot about it till I read this thread. What's the deal?

Was worried about that too when I got mine Thursday and durning the inspection from the overseas shipping company.....they agreed with me that there seemed to be something wrong if you have to force it down by hand. So it was anotated as something a dealer would have to fix. But it sounds like nor,al operation others with a vert too now.
