Subwoofer ?

Has anyone put a subwoofer in there C6 if so did you build the box ? and does your top still fit in the back hatch?

Hey,
I first had a 10" Alpine sub put in and didnt like it-that fit just fine, but just had a 10" Kicker put in, box was custom built but still not happy with the output also changed the speakers to Alpine R-Series. Getting a 12" kicker put in tomorrow and different speakers as well along with a new head unit. But here is a pic someone took and posted on another thread of what it looks like now:

Because of the angle, the top does fit.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think FLC6 put a bazooka tube in his. If it wasn't him, there was somebody in FL on the forum who did.

I got a 6" Bazooka sub in back, but I haven't tried yet to put the top over it. It looks like it would fit.

You guys do a bit of everything there, huh? If you want a sub that performs, doesn't cost much and gives you the most flexibility with mounting space...look at the Pioneer Premier DSW-12 (only 3.5" deep or so).
