It's always nice to see our fellow Americans thanking the soldiers that serve our country. I just returned from Iraq with the 1ST Cav. Enjoy your Vettes and your freedom, but take a minute out to thank those who serve and gave the ultimate sacrafice. 1SG Anthony Torres 20 years active duty and still going.

I can't agree more and even though I know my fellow soldiers will die everyday in the God awful country, I pray that no more will die today. I, too, returned from Iraq, sent over with the 87th Division to help train the New Iraqi Army and after they were "trained and ready," we then we on combat missions with them almost every day in Taji, Sadr City and Najif and supported by the 1st Cav-GREAT BUNCH OF GUYS-they will pull you out a tight spot with those Black Hawks, Cobra's and Bradley Fighting Vehicles with no hesitation. Great bunch of guys in the biggist sh**hol* place on earth since Viet Nam! That's supposed to be the birth place of civilization? No wonder they left and journeyed to all the other places on earth! SSG Salvatore Cerniglia 8 yrs active duty and 24 years reserve, and still don't know when to quit!
In Remembrance. My dad served 42-45 PacificTheatre 502nd B-29 BombGroup, I served 71-73 347th Tactical Fighter Wing. My son is serving now in Afghanistan. God bless and keep those who are serving, have served, and those who have sacrificed all for our country. God Bless America!!
