Default Trip Report

We took our new LMB Coupe from Colorado Springs to Kansas City for the Memorial Day weekend. We took secondary roads avoiding the interstate and I must say it is a fabulous ride. First, a comment about the F55: Many of the roads we were on had humps, dips and off camber curves that the suspension dealt with beautifully. For those who can't seem to tell the difference between tour and sport, maybe you are driving on boring roads. A thought about the law: A Kansas Trooper stopped me as I was doing 85 in a 65. He had clocked me at 81, but granted me mercy and a stern warning. By the way, Kansas, paticularly away from I70 is quite beautiful We drove nonstop for over seven hours and emerged refreshed and with no kinks. Fun, comfort, plenty of room for luggage and good fuel economy (29.2). What more could we want. Do we need a separate formum for road trips? Enjoy your Corvettes!

Sounds like a good trip! Glad you are using your Corvette as intended. I agree that it's a great road car! Any pix?
