I have noticed that the map lights are on when the car is operating day OR night. kind of annoying. also the interior is lit up from the map lights for quite some time after the car is shut off. Is anyone else experiencing this ? Is there a shutoff or decision that I could program into the DIC?

My map light is hardley ever on. The only time it turns on is when i open the door. But if i open the door and walk out the map light's start dimming and shut off right after my headlights flash(from the car locking itself). You might of accidently turned on your map lights manually. Push in the knop to the left of the steering wheel right above your left knee. It's the **** that is also used to dim or brighten gauges by turning it left or right. If you push it in, the interior cabin lights will turn on and stay on. If pushing the button does nothing then make sure that you didn't turn the lights on by pushing the buttons that are on the rearview mirror.
If lights by your feet are also on- then the button to the left of the steering wheel needs to be pushed in.
If just the lights on the rearview mirror are on- then the buttons on the rearview mirror need to be pushed in.
