ALOT OF FEEDBACK ON THE 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION WITH THE AFTERMARKET PART TO PUT ON THE TRANNY. wHAT IS THIS FOR AND SHOULD i DO IT??? sHOULD THE dEALER DO IT??

If your talking CAGS defeat which plugs into the tranny then do it. Saves the 1 to 4 lock out which can be a PITA. Simple installation can be done at home by jacking up the rear of the car and crawling under to unplug the CAGS and plug in the resistor which is provided in the kit. Follow directions as provided and you can't go wrong.
