Bola Stingers w/x-pipe sound & video
Here's my first attempt at videos.
#1 is just revs from behind the car. I apologize for the reflection of my husbands legs - I didn't know he was back there messing around when I did this. Oh well, gives you something to watch while listening. We've played it outside and then revved the car and I think it is pretty close to what my car sounds like in person.
#2 is from an autocross school this past weekend. It was the first time my husband used the camera for video, so be patient! It was quite windy, but I think you can hear the exhaust. It sounds pretty cool. That was the first time I got to hear it from outside the car. Oh - that's the instructor driving, not me! He did catch a cone, but he really liked my car.
Thanks wicked_C5 for hosting the video. I hope you get your car soon!

Now that I've had them for a few weeks, yes there is a definite drone, right around 1500 - 1600 rpm. I have an automatic so it's easy to drive around that range. We did have a 3 hour road trip and I found out that 55 mph uphill = 1500 rpm = loud drone. It was uphill most of the way home and I was tired, so after about an hour of that, it did get a little annoying. I just opened the windows and turned up the stereo! Other than that, they're just louder than stock. I love 'em! My husband says he can hear my car when I turn the corner at the end of the street. I'm not sure they're really THAT loud.

Any of you Borla owners (besides JT Taylor) have problems with alignment of the exhaust tips? I should be getting mine any day now, and I'm a little worried because of some stories I've heard about misaligned tips that can't be adjusted. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Nice video.... glad you were finally able to get them... now just be prepared for any show you go to, to be asked "Can I hear your Borla's"?

Thanks to Kay for making my decision to get the Borla Stingers that much easier
I do have one question - on my 03 Vette I just did the cat backs and didn't do the xpipe. I was thinking of doing both when my 05 comes in. Does the xpipe need to be welded or is it bolt on as well. Any issues to be concerned about or that I should tell my installer?
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about the welding - my first thought is yes. My installer put them on and took them off a couple of times until he got it the way he wanted it. He also fiddled with the hangers - putting them on different ways until it had good clearance underneath. He did a really good job.
