Default Finally ! ! ! Order Accepted !

I am a long time (I think) member and second time poster. I have been following all the posts you guys go through while waiting for the baby's delivery. Well after a LONG wait the order was accepted by the factory.
At the start of this year I have been courting my BH to get the C6 but she was not into it. Then she said she would like to drive it too if we have to get one. And she doesn't drive stick, so I made her a deal . We will get a stick (of course!) and she will have the choise of color, inside and out. Right off black interior but the exterior color became a bear. I always wanted a blue (I have a Med Blue '74) or a fiery yellow, she warmed up to the LMB but changed her mind just as quick. Then she said red, and we bounced back and forth between the three different reds. Months followed and she decided on Magnetic Red. But by the time we got to the dealership Mag Red and Mil Yellow were already in constraint. I put my down payment and the agonizing wait began. Meanwhile the wife again changed her mind on the color . Mag Red is too common for her, she want the darker Anniversary Red but you know it is not available . I kept quiet and she finally decided on the Millenium Yellow. Because of the constraint I explained to her that it will be a brighter Velocity Yellow instead. Finally, GM accepted my order: Velocity Yellow convertible, MN6 Black power top, Ebony interior, Z51, 1SB, DVD Nav, OnStar, and polished wheels. I want a loaded one and that is what I will get .
And for fellow forum nuts, do you think my baby will be one of the very first few VY for '05? What's the possibility that it will be a rare '05 VY ?

Congratulations !!! You do know that the new Monterey Red will be between Mag Red and Anniversary Red? You can still change your order (I think). Either way, you will have a fine ride

I already called dibs on the first one, but I'll let you have the second VY.

And it depends on your definition of "first few." My order went in with the first batch of 24, last week I believe around 80 VYs were allocated, and this week they aren't on constraint at all. '05s run till Sept sometime I believe, and assuming around 400 VYs are made each month of July and August, along with the few that will be made in June (24 +80) and 1 week in september (+100), then my best guess would put the VY's for '05 around 1000 total.

They make around 35,000 vettes per year.
