Dealer Damages C6 (Updated 6/17)
Follow up to post of 6/15
Dealer called me at at 1:40 pm today to let me know car was ready. Picked it up at around 4. New polished wheel, new tire, alignment checked and found to be OK (although I have to wonder). Cost of repairs including rental car to dealer was over $1200.
Given the fact the car was damaged on Wed and was ready to go Fri, I think the dealer did pretty well and I'm happy. But as far as going back......
I wanted to ask but didn't, about what, if anything, happened to the mechanic who caused the damage.

Good deal. Just keep an eye on that tire for a while. Do the "let go of the steering wheel on a flat road" test and make sure there is no obvious wander to the left or right.
Sounds like they did the right thing given that they screwed up.
