Painting Plastic Inserts
C6/Z51/MZ6
Has anyone painted the plastic inserts that go between the windshield and the door glass (A Pillar?).
Seems to me the one detail they left out. Usually these are chrome. Since they're made out of the same material as an unpainted mirror, they pick up wax/etc., and are subject to fading.
I was thinking they'd look pretty bada$$ if the were gloss black like the rest of the car.
I asked Sal Zaino what to use on these, he told me;" Z2, like the rest of the car". Since I'm (still) waiting to do a buff-out to fix the damage the (so-called) detailer @ the stealership did after my paint work (I was thinking the new Zaino Z-PC would be just the ticket), I haven't applied ANY polish to the car yet...
Thoughts?
