Default Operator Error???

Last night I took the baby to a show and after I was backed in to a parking space I put the windows down while the motor was still running. After shutting the car down, in reverse, brake on and key fob in my pocket........I couldn't get the driver's door open even when I pushed the unlock button. Started the car, windows down and still couldn't open the door, windows up same thing. Shut the car off, pushed accessory after I opened the door and lowered the windows, pushed off.
Got out and felt like a fool! Don't know if I confused a computer or what? Any similar experiences out there?

That's odd!
The only thing that you did wrong was to back into the space.
You only back into spaces at the Steak and Shake.

Seriously, I can't see anything wrong.
Probably one of those transient computer glitches that disappear after a 'reboot'.

It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. I think the car just lost track of the fact that it was not in motion ... it should have allowed you to open the door. I would be surprised if this ever happened again. Just in case, you always have the manual door pulls to bail you out.
