Not my week....
Hopefully my recent unlucky chain of events will come to an end soon. Last week the hatch release button on the back stopped working then I noticed Saturday that the cruise control was not working. The check engine light just came on (stays on solid). I tried a new tank of gas in case it was bad gas and it stayed on. Then on the way home from the hardware store I was pulled over doing 75 in a 55. I wasn't paying attention at all, I am trying to finish a home remodeling project and was thinking about what I had to do next. The Police officer was very nice and asked if my radar detector went off. I said it hadn't (I didn't think I was not doing over 70 I think he clocked the car in front of me and I changed lanes from left to right). He ended up giving me only a front license plate ticket. I told him I was just trying to get home to finish the remodel and he said he understood!!! He also said that if he aims low on the car the beam is only 3ft from 1000ft and sometimes detectors won't pick it up (ever heard that?).
At least I didn't get a ticket but I still have three issues with my car that need addressed. The car is running fine just has the check engine light on. I made an appt for the dealer to get it looked at.
