My C5 came with a VHS tape about the car's features.
I have heard some of the group talk about a DVD that came with their C6. I live in Canada and received no such DVD with my C6. However, the dealer did supply me with a very nice black jacket brochure that has a DVD in it. The DVD has a very general overview of the testing of the car in Germany, some light over views of the options, some publicity and TV ads and so on.
Is this what you are talking about or is there a more in depth DVD?
I would like to know who your delaer is. Myself and others have been told by GM Oshawa that since the DVD is not in English and French it is not included in the Canadian export package. You will find you did not get the Goodyear tire warranty either. Same reason.
I received an "Corvette05 Owner Instructional DVD" when I picked up my car at the NCM. It was in the package they gave me. I never opened it.
I got that plus two CDs, one for the features of the car and one for the nav system. None of them are really that great, but they'll be good to have with the whole package.
Lap1 is talking about the other DVD that US customers get but Canadian customers do not.
I think that is correct. I do know that I received an Owner Instructional DVD (not related to the Nav option) and a Personalization Instructional CD. Several Canadian C6 owners have posted that their C6 did not have the DVD for the reason indicated in other posts here. Same with the Goodyear Warranty pamphlet.

My dealer gave me the same "black jacketed dvd and brochure" Looks good on the big screen.... I bought the car in Newmarket, north of Toronto.
well - rather than have one american do all of them. Which candadian has a dvd ripper and dvd burner; for archive purposes of course. I've got a few .ISO files I've made additional copies of the "sales training" I bought off of eBay.
Ok, I don't have a DVD ripper, but I do have a burner....however a good friend has everything to make sure those files are archived correctly...for posterity of course.

I live in Beamsville, ON and my dealer is Wills Motors in Grimsby. Couldn't ask for a more helpful dealer in trying to get me what I wanted. He went to bat for me on this and just received the same brochure package he originally got for me from his GM rep. Still not the DVD I was expecting. Sounds like GM is jerking us around.
I would be happy to have a copy if anyone wants to help.
Mine came with a DVD that talked about the various features of the car. It is called the "Owners Instructional DVD". I did not get the NAV. It also came with an instructional CD, however, I haven't bothered with that one.
I believe this can be picked up at the NCM. This is what they have listed.

I havent been able to succesfully rip the owner's DVD so I can burn it. I keep getting an error about 2/3's through ripping it to ISO format. I promised a couple of members that DVD - but just cant get it rip'd. If anyone else can oblige - I'm sure the vette' folks up North would appreciate it!
